Investment In Asia

Over the past 5 years Asia has become a hotspot for investment. Thailand, in particular has witnessed meteoric rises in property sales and valuation. As a result of western investment the growth of unscrupulous building contractors and developers has risen, also to alarming levels.

It’s Not All Bad News

There are good, honest developers and builders out there. Sometimes though, it is best to put measures in place that outline your intentions from the very beginning of the project. Positive action sends a clear message to a developer and ensures that they are aware that it is your intention to keep track of their every move, their scheduling, reporting and spending.

As our client, we will arrange with you when and how often you wish to be updated on your project. You decide whether you want our consultant to visit on a regular basis or visit for spot checks as and when structured payment demands are received. Our fees will reflect the level of information you require.

Developers & Contractors

We are not suggesting for a minute that all contractors and developers are unreliable. We are suggesting though, during the life span of a build things do go wrong and extra funding is sometimes required. With regular visits, these extra costs may be justified and budgeted for. You can be sure that a developer who knows they are likely to be reported upon regularly is more likely to finish on time and on budget than a developer who is given a free reign.
